1. Initial Evaluation
-
Individualized assessment conducted by a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) on our team.
-
Together you and your therapist will review the findings and determine a Plan of Care specific to your goals.
2. Schedule
-
Suggested based on findings during the initial evaluation.
-
Total visits vary based on injury, however, most patients are seen 1-2 times per week.
3. Start your Treatment
-
A 30 minute or 60 minute session depending on your injury.
-
Your visit may include:
-
Hands-On Manual Therapy - Tool Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Neuromuscular Re-education and Joint or Spinal Mobilizations.
-
Exercise Prescription - strengthening and flexibility program specifically designed to fit your needs and goals.
-
Neuroscience and Pain Education - we will spend time explaining the science behind pain. Understanding "why you hurt" is a vital part of your recovery, and has been shown to decrease anxiety and fear towards one's painful situation.
-
Home Exercise Program - you may be provided exercises to be performed between sessions. These are designed with your goals in mind and assist in speeding up your recovery. It is imperative that you take charge and become an active participant in your well-being.
-
4. Achieve a Healthy Body
