We are an out-of-network private pay physical therapy clinic. Not having a relationship with insurance companies allows us to provide you with the treatment you need.
-
This means we have a set fee for every treatment session.
-
This fee will cover all treatment provided during the session, including supplies and home exercise program.
Why is insurance not filed at Healthy Body Physical Therapy?

-
In order to bill your insurance, physical therapy providers must have a contract with insurance companies.
-
These contracts limit the amount being reimbursed, leading to physical therapy providers having to double book patients, shorten treatment time and modify procedures to accommodate for the loss.
-
Using a private pay system, allows us the freedom to provide you with the care you need without compromising quality.
-
The total time you receive treatment is determined by you and your therapist, based on your needs, not determined by an insurance company.

(If the health industry evolves and we are no longer restricted from providing you with the appropriate care, we will explore accepting insurance payments.)
How to request reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses to your insurance?
*except Medicare
-
Most insurance companies provide forms to submit out-of-network claims, usually obtained from their website or by calling the number on the back of your card.
-
You are responsible for submitting the paperwork to the insurance company.
-
Keep in mind the amount reimbursed is dependent on your insurance plan and varies from person to person.
-
Upon request, we can provide you with receipts and treatment codes necessary to submit your claim.
*We do not accept Medicare insurance.
