SUNDAY MORNING RUN CLUB

Welcome To Our

Sunday Morning Run Club!

Our goal is to aim is to foster a welcoming and supportive community of dedicated endurance runners who aspire to push both themselves and others to achieve their running goals. This is a judgement free zone, where you can count on being challenged and encouraged.

Club Lead by: Our very own Dr. Sophie Zimmerman who is originally from Vermont and moved to North Carolina in 2022 after completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Vermont in December of 2021. She sure loves running and is currently training for some races. 

​

Meeting Day: Every Sunday morning

Location: Summit Coffee Davidson - front entrance

  • Meet up Time: 9 am

  • Warm-up: 9:05 am

  • Running: starts at 9:15 am

​

Afterwards everyone is welcome to stick around for some coffee and conversation. 

​

The fun part: 

  • Distance: Short option 4-5 miles

  • Long option: Variable, starting at 6 miles and progressing to 13 miles.

​

Suggestions: participants should possess some running experience and the ability to run at least 4 miles consecutively.

​
